GRH was awarded the boiler room refurbishment for the KCC via Mouchel.
This project involved the removal of the existing boiler plant via employment of an asbestos specialist including a full clean of the boiler room to leave it safe for our installation.
Works included the design, manufacture and installation of a bespoke control panel and associated control and power wiring to all new boilers and plant.
All works were completed during occupation of the building with the installation of point of use water heaters to ensure welfare facilities were kept on-line.
On completion the boiler room was painted and thermal insulation applied to all new services including the supply and installation of a new louvered door.
Work were completed ahead of programme without any disruption to the school.
